The Image Licensing Agreement

Image licensing forms an integral part of any standard photographic business practice. Images are either licensed by the commissioning organisation or collaborating partner once the project is complete; or by a third party, for publication at any point in the future.
Once a licence fee is paid, I issue a formal agreement that clearly states the images that can be used and the terms of usage. These include the duration, territories, exclusivity and medium that the particular usage agreement allows for.
Here is the standard licensing agreement that I use for campaign commissions and collaborations. For commercial, editorial and art licensing, the Scope of Use will differ from those outlined below.
