The main focus of my work is photographic advocacy campaigns, made in partnerships with purpose-driven organisations. I like to keep my pricing really simple for these clients, they have enough to worry about, but it still needs to align to my business model.

As a potential client/collaborator I want you to fully understand how I work, so here is a concise but clear explanation.

For campaigns, I charge my standard creative fee, plus expenses, and a blanket licence fee that covers the usage of all the images.

The Creative Fee

The creative fee is calculated on how many days I work to make the project. My set rates for 2026 are:

  • Production Days - £600

  • Pre-Production Days - £300

  • Post-Production Days - £300

  • Travel Days - £200

The Licence Fee

A one year usage licence is automatically included in my production day rate, so you only need to think about the licence fee if you want to extend it beyond a year, at which time I will make contact with a renewal enquiry.

The licence fee allows you to use the images for all digital and print, non-commercial ventures. This includes but is not limited to: social media, websites, blogs, exhibitions, reports, books, magazines and newspapers.

Exclusivity

You choose if you want the usage licence to be exclusive or not, and for how long you want that exclusivity to last. A non-exclusive licence reduces the cost of the licence by £50 per production day.

Exclusivity means that, for the duration of the exclusivity period, you get full say on how the images can be used. I cannot sell the images to anyone else, and I cannot allow the images to be published without your permission.

Expenses

I offer two different methods of dealing with expenses:

  1. Upfront: I provide a quote for expenses that covers all costs of production. A 20% surcharge is added to cover any unforeseen costs. I deal with all logistics, bookings and payment throughout the project.

  2. On Completion: You organise all travel logistics and pay for any travel and accommodation costs. All other expenses are invoiced with receipts on completion of the project.

Calculate

Use the calculator below to get an idea of how much a campaign will cost, and the breakdown of the price.

Please note: Expenses are not included. Intended as an estimate, not an official quote. Prices are subject to change at no notice.
