SECTION27’s Nomatter Ndebele and I travelled the roads of South Africa in search of the foot soldiers of the health system, the men and women who quietly get on with doing the job and saving lives, often without any acknowledgement.


In Sweetwaters, KZN we encountered a group of community healthcare workers and traditional healers who were giving their free time and knowledge for the love of their neighbours.
